
Beth Stanley has been a mental health counselor since 2002. With nearly 25 years of experience, she maintains a strengths based approach with clients. Beth utilizes a relational model, walking beside clients as they learn new skills and develop insight regarding patterns of behavior. Using a trauma informed lens Beth applies strategies from solution focused, DBT and cognitive behavioral modalities. Beth works with clients to encourage and support growth, while striving for improved quality of life.
Samantha is a pre-licensed clinician with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She works with children, adolescents, and adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, body image issues, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. Samantha uses evidence-based interventions that are tailored to the unique needs of the clients. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, play therapy, and art therapy. Samantha is passionate about helping clients accomplish their therapeutic goals.

Alyssa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an MSW graduate of Boston College School of Social Work with over 12 years of experience. She has past experience working as an in-home family therapist as well as a clinician at a therapeutic day school. At the in-home level, Alyssa’s focus was on children, youth and families who are struggling with mental health challenges to increase attachment and attunement. At Sparks Counseling Services, Alyssa meets with Adults, Teens and Children who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, life transitions, or self-esteem issues. Alyssa clients describe her as having a great sense of humor, knowledgeable, resourceful, and a good listener.

Doreen Carey, MA
Doreen Carey is a pre-licensed clinician with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a concentration in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling from Bay Path University. She has experience working with individuals facing both mental health and substance use challenges and brings a diverse professional background supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. Doreen is passionate about helping people recognize their strengths, navigate life's challenges, and move toward their personal goals. She believes that meaningful change begins within a supportive therapeutic relationship and works to create a space where clients feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely understood. Known for her warm, approachable style, she combines empathy, active listening, and practical guidance to help clients gain insight and develop effective coping strategies. Her therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to each client’s specific needs and strengths. She integrates evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness and mind-body practices, motivational interviewing, person-centered counseling, play therapy interventions, and humor, when appropriate, to help clients access their inner resources and build resilience.
