Chrystal Brogna, LMHC

Chrystal has 9 years experience in the mental health field. She has been able to develop her skills working with equally varied populations around issues impacting Individuals, Adolescents, and Couples. Her specialties are in working with those struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Anger, those diagnosed with Personality Disorders, and individuals diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. She is experienced in working with the Forensic population as well as with First Responders. Her Treatment Modalities include the use of CBT, DBT, and  Humanistic approaches. 

Suerae Stein, LMHC

Suerae is a licensed, Nationally 

Certified Mental Health Counselor, with 9 years of experience, providing telehealth services to adult clients in MA, ME, NH, and FL. She helps clients who are dealing with trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, life transitions, self-esteem issues, and grief. She provides a safe, caring, non-judgmental environment, while helping clients gain insight into problems, thoughts, and behaviors which may be creating or compounding their difficulties. Together, you will identify and improve unhealthy thought and behavioral patterns, process challenges, and explore problem solving interventions that lead to empowerment and healthy change.

Suerae has experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and neural desensitization and integration therapy (NDIT). Your work will include cognitive and somatic approaches which create powerful long-lasting changes in overall mental well-being.

Suerae considers the therapeutic relationship the most important precursor to success in therapy, and clients have told her that she is approachable, kind, compassionate, honest, easy to talk to, and non-judgmental. She would be honored to work with you toward your own empowerment and improved emotional well-being.  


Melanie Stephen, LCSW

Melanie is a LIcensed Clinicial Social Worker.   

With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, she is a compassionate and dedicated therapist committed to supporting individuals through all of life's challenges. She specializes in trauma, addictions, eating disorders, self-harm, anxiety, depression, and grief. She strives to help clients develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional well-being, and achieve their personal goals. She works with individuals, couples, and families, creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions and work toward lasting change. She believes that healing is a collaborative process, and is here to guide you with empathy and support as you navigate life’s complexities.

Stacey Sparks, CAGS, LMHC

Stacey is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She has over 25 years of experience providing individual and group therapy to adults and adolescents who present with symptoms of mental illness, situational stressors, and challenging behaviors.  

She specializes in working with First responders, anger management, cognitive behavioral therapy, and substance abuse treatment. Stacey provides strength based, goal oriented psychotherapy. She can give you useful tools that can be practiced and used in your daily life to improve well being, facilitate behavior change, enhance coping skills, and ultimately increase empowerment.

Her clients describe her as nonjudgmental, a good listener, "real", easy to talk to, with a side of humor.

Patricia Murphy, MSW, MHA, LICSW

Patricia has been a Clinical Social Worker for twenty years. In addition to her Masters in Social Work, she recently earned a Masters in Healthcare Administration. Patricia has a lengthy history of acute clinical work in the correctional environment and has spent the past ten years in the city hospital environment. She has had clinical social work roles as well as leadership roles in care management. She joined the Sparks Counseling Team a few years ago and considers herself an active agent of change working with a vast array of populations including specializing in the treatment of First Responders. She utilizes motivational interviewing and CBT strategies with a sense of reality-based strategies to facilitate growth. Patricia enjoys populations that are ready for change and brings a sense of empathy, motivation, and humor (when appropriate) to build many long-lasting trusting therapeutic relationships. When she is not engaged in clinical work, Patricia enjoys her family, traveling, time outdoors, and working on her book.

Andrea Edwards, LICSW

  Andrea is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience in medical and psychiatric environments. Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness Therapy, Andrea provides practical, reality-based treatment designed to help individuals manage everyday life challenges effectively.

With a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Andrea is committed to helping clients achieve tangible goals through structured interventions, fostering resilience and personal growth. Her compassionate and evidence-based approach empowers individuals to navigate stress, anxiety, and life transitions with confidence.

Brittany Searer, LMHC

  Brittany is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 9 years experience in the mental health field. Brittany provides therapy to preteens, adolescents, and adults.  Her specialties include trauma, women’s issues, and mindfulness-based strategies.  

Brittany brings a relatable, authentic and laid back personality, while also being compassionate and supportive. Clients have often told her that she thinks outside of box and helps them to approach or think about situations differently. Her style is eclectic, because she tends to borrow from multiple treatment modalities to suit everyone’s unique needs. 

Jonathan Scully, LMHC

  Jonathan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 8 years experience in the mental health field.  

Jonathan practices both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. Both approaches are part of a behavioral science that has been shown to work and are

empirically supported. His clients find these therapies are engaging, helpful, interesting, useful, and have produced improvements in their life. 

Amanda Jeniski, LMHC

    Amanda is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has two years of clinical counseling experience, but 10 cumulative years in the mental health field. Having worked in in-home family therapy, residential treatment, and outreach counseling settings, she enjoys meeting with clients of all demographics. She currently sees individual clients (child and adult), as well as couples. Amanda has a niche in working with neurodivergence, polyamory/ethical non monogamy, LGBTQ+, transitional/young adult aged clients, and women’s issues. Amanda offers a laid back, eclectic, and conversational style of therapy that mixes clinical knowledge and lived experience. She utilizes person centered and strengths based approaches to assist clients on their paths to meeting their goals. Amanda enjoys building in hobbies and personal interests of clients into therapeutic treatment, as well as mindfulness and grounding practices. 

Sharlene Sullivan, MA, LADAC1

    Sharlene is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a MA in Counseling Psychology. She has over 25 years of clinical individual and group counseling and drug/alcohol counseling experience in a variety of settings. 

Sharlene specializes in the treatment of Dual Diagnosis clients, Veterans, the Forensic Population, as well as First Responders. 

Sharlene's style focuses on building a relationship and working toward improving and establishing positive outcomes. 

Joyce Coleman, LMHC

    Compassionate and evidence-based therapy tailored to your unique journey. 

Joyce has a deep and decades long commitment to supporting 

individuals and families to grow and improve relationships, work  

 through difficulties, and empower themselves to meet their goals and improve their situations.   

Joyce integrates multiple therapeutic modalities to meet each client’s needs. Her approach may include Dialectical Behavioral

Therapy (DBT), Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC), Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other Rogerian Therapies to foster emotional resilience, self-

awareness, and lasting change.

Joyce specializes in helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and personal growth, offering a safe
